so i read yesterday's Ny Times article about how bloggers are driving themselves to death by over stressing themselves with writing and competing around the clock. It did not have any effect on me but rather it gave me a big small.
Scobleizer also mentioned today that it had no effect on him either, maybe for different reasons than mine. Bloggers enjoy blogging, well the big players do while the rest suffer! Sometimes the ignorance of big time blogger is really amusing.
I smiled because here is a newspaper company, OLD MEDIA, talking bad about new media. While it is an obvious fact that old media is being murdered by blogs what's funny is that a big time publisher, NY Times, is making an attempt at discrediting bloggers by targeting their health and work ethics so that less people pick up a new blog and write about something that might compete with NYTimes.
What a bunch of propaganda crap!
It is my personal opinion that while there are many blogs coming out with the intention of global success, however in the near future we will see a huge rise locally operated and targeted blogs for every city on this planet. This movement basically eliminated the need to read news papers!
My blog is a fairly new and i must say with all the trick i have under my belt i'm still struggling and killing my self to promote this blog, while my initial results are optimistic but i've still got a really ladder to climb.
I find the biggest problem bloggers have is that no matter how much traffic we get, or how much money we earn we are still apart of the hobby industry. Blogging is not exactly an established job title, and Blogs are not a respectable industry like newspapers, TV, Radio and etc.
